Sam Clough

Sam joined Orme in 2015 after completing his masters degree in Architecture at the University of the West of England. Since then, he has qualified as an Architect, gained significant experience in delivering and managing projects and is now a visiting lecturer at UWE. He enjoys helping the next generation of Architecture students to develop creative and sustainable solutions for our built environment and therefore has become a certified Passive House Designer.
He is passionate about creating designs that relate to their context whilst drawing on traditional, contemporary and sustainable construction techniques. This has seen him working on a variety of projects including one-off homes, hill-forts, remote hostels, residential extensions, vineyard tasting spaces, student halls and retail stores. When not immersed in Architecture, Sam can be found on the Mendips or in the Brecon Beacons running, walking or cycling.
